We had been given a wedding present of a night in a hotel in Basel. This hotel taps into the long tradition of modern art within Basel, and each room was decorated in a very distinctive style.

We stayed in the 'Reflections' room - which is described on the hotel website thus: 'Two walls and the ceiling are fitted with round, hand-size mirrors. These are mounted at different angles, so that each mirror reflects an individual view of the room. As a result, one’s own reflection appears fragmented, multiplied or it disappears entirely.' (and who are we to argue!?!?!)

It was a bit of fun (and they sold some fantastic wine in the shop!)
